Responsibilities
  • Direct the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring seamless transaction processing, prompt payments, and fostering robust vendor partnerships.
  • Lead and mentor a team of hourly and salaried accounting professionals, offering support, training, and performance oversight to drive excellence.
  • Review and reconcile vendor invoices and statements, ensuring timely payments to uphold strong supplier relationships.
  • Champion compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and all relevant regulations.
  • Spearhead the preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end closings for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with leadership to dissect financial data, spot trends, and deliver actionable insights to fuel strategic decisions.
  • Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
  • Maintain meticulous, GAAP-compliant financial records that stand up to scrutiny.
  • Spot inefficiencies and drive process improvements to elevate accounting operations.
Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising a team.
  • Deep expertise in accounts payable, core business operations, and accounting standards.
  • Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite (a must-have for this role).
  • Stellar communication skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Laser-sharp attention to detail, top-tier organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat.
  • Comfort working under tight deadlines while keeping financial operations humming smoothly.
  • CPA or CMA credentials? That’s a bonus but not a dealbreaker.
